Accordingly, Elvenshae has put this brief interlude of peace to good use, rebuilding ravaged villages and towns and learning the ways of the Silvermist Rangers of Windholm: supporting them against their enemies, fighting in their name in tournaments, and working to suppress the rampaging Jatu with the aid of the Noldor. The remaining kingdoms are either on good terms with the new Kingdom of Elvenshae - though none have recognized Paetryn's right to rule, they at least acknowledge him as a useful stopgap - or are disinterested and focused on other items. Once the land was pacified, King Paetryn returned Nal Tar and its villages to now-Lord Hamid. Their lords are scattered to the winds, and the territory they once controlled is now firmly in the Pendorian hands of the Kingdom of Elvenshae.Ĭaliph Hamid saw which way the wind was blowing quite early, and defected to the nascent Elvenshae - drawn, no doubt, by the fact that the new king had married Hamid's daughter while a vassal in service to Bahadur Khan.
