The remaining kingdoms are either on good terms with the new Kingdom of Elvenshae - though none have recognized Paetryn's right to rule, they at least acknowledge him as a useful stopgap - or are disinterested and focused on other items. Once the land was pacified, King Paetryn returned Nal Tar and its villages to now-Lord Hamid. Their lords are scattered to the winds, and the territory they once controlled is now firmly in the Pendorian hands of the Kingdom of Elvenshae.Ĭaliph Hamid saw which way the wind was blowing quite early, and defected to the nascent Elvenshae - drawn, no doubt, by the fact that the new king had married Hamid's daughter while a vassal in service to Bahadur Khan.
